Rivers Re-run: Former PDP Ward Chairman Defects To APC In Obio/Akpor LGA

A top PDP member in Rumuodara community of Obio/Akpor local
Government area in Rivers state has today defected to the All Progressives
Congress (APC). Chief. Joe Onukem who was a former ward chairman of the Peoples
Democratic Party in ward 2 of Obio/Akpor declared for the opposition in a
meeting hosted by party leaders in Rumuoadara on Thursday 7th January
2016.

In his speech he bragged “i have been the ward chairman of
the PDP in ward 2 for 8 years and i delivered my ward for 8 years. but now am
in the APC, I will make sure ward 2 delivers 100 percent votes to the APC in
the forth coming re-run. You will all see me and my supporters on  the 19th when Hon. Asita .O. Asita
will be coming for a thank you visit ”

They assured everyone to carry the message of change to their various units and ensure the party wins in the forth coming Re-run.
