Nigerians In Diaspora Drum Support For Pastor Osagie

On wednesday, July 1st, 2020, Prince Ade Omole, UK leader, inaugurated the UK campaign support council to work for the victory of Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu during the forthcoming 19 September 2020 gubernatorial election.

The inaugural event was attended by UK party leaders, Chief (Dr) Ibrahim Emorkpaire (a former APC National chairmanship aspirant), Barrister J.K. Adebola, Engr. Femi Omogbai, Mrs Ifeoma Faruk, Prince Olagunju, Chief Abraham Jimawo (a former chief executive of RRS ), Hon Felix Ajayi, Hon Bola Babarinde and other prominent Edolites from across the globe, Russia, South Africa, Spain, USA and Ireland.

In his inaugural speech, Prince Ade Omole congratulated all members of the council working round the clock for the victory of Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu. He appreciated the team for keeping it simple but effective. He further said that the group will keep it S. I. M. P. L. E. to reflect POI’s agenda.

He stressed that campaign support council is not in competition with any other group but to complement the campaign efforts to ensure that POI wins. He noted that support council would not be raising funds or serve as a conduit for raised funds. The campaign activities of the group would be solely funded by the chapter and individual members.

Prince Omole reiterated that POI’s agenda will focus on Security and Social welfare, Infrastructure development and urban renewal, Manpower development and training, Public/private partnership, Leadership, and Employment creation and empowerment.

At present, there is a lot of tension in the state arising from Governor Obaseki’s misguided governance, intolerance and disdain for the rule of law. This has negatively impacted the state’s ability to attract investments especially from outside the country.

Top on the list of Pastor Ize-Iyamu’s agenda is to restore security and order through the improvement of the state security architecture in order to put a stop to the hideous situation where sitting Commissioners and citizens of the state are kidnapped in broad daylight.

Hon Felix Ajayi – Campaign Director General

POI’s goal is to win back the confidence of investors as that is crucial to revenue generation. It is on record that POI is a grassroot personality with a close affinity with the people of the state, and he is also deeply worried by the rising poverty, especially in rural communities where the present government has ordered a media blackout. Hence, POI has prepared a range of policy programmes that will create opportunities in the communities, empower the people, and provide gainful engagement that will serve the twin-purpose of eradicating poverty and building competence.

Prince Omole said that, POI will transform Edo state positively and restore Edo’s glory as the elected governor of the state.

Our objective in the United Kingdom is to use our over 2 million per day traffic on social media and political cloud to promote and project our candidate to victory.
