The APC Youth League, Rivers Coordinate has commended the Acting MD/CEO of NDDC, Madam Ibim Semenitari for her love for community development, recently displayed in the award of contracts for the construction of the Igbo-Etche road and other internal interventionist road projects like the Elekiah housing estate roads etc.‎

In a statement jointly signed by the APC Youth League Coordinator and the Secretary, Abiye George (Comr) and Egbule Godspower, Esq, the group stated that they were happy and pleased with the road construction in the heart of Etche Local Government Area. The decision by the NDDC to construct the road is a testimony of Madam Ibim Semenitari’s commitment to development of the rural areas and improving the lives of people and economic development of the . The group stated that Madam Ibim Semenitari needs to be commended for the construction of the Igbo-Etche road as it will make life simpler, easier and better for the Etche communities. The road construction also shows that Madam Ibim Semenitari is a silent achiever passionately committed to the development of the .
There is no doubt such roads will bring development and create jobs for our teeming youths. When the Executive of the League visited the construction site, we noted that the communities and youth leaders appreciate efforts and commitment by the NDDC under the amiable leadership of Madam Ibim Semenitari towards construction of the road, in the midst of the staggering economic challenges. We also found out that work is in progress at a very fast speed to ensure speedy completion of the roads for the use of the people of Igbo-Etche communities and residents.

We can attest to the immense benefits derivable from the road construction particularly, in the area of transporting farm produce from the communities to other parts of the State and Niger Delta. On completion, the Igbo-Etche road, which is under construction, will facilitate easy movement of the farmers and enhance economic activities.‎
